On Trail Rescue Stretcher
OTRS · Trailhead rescue device
Trailhead rescue transportation is highly inaccessible. Existing options can disrupt natural habitats, need a team of personnel, or strain park rangers. The brief: follow the design process to solve a real-world problem with recycled materials and a limited budget.
The stretcher locks at an ideal 105° seated position and folds compact for storage. Its handles are repurposed bike handlebars, and it is built from Cordura nylon, nylon webbing and paracord.
